Hit and Run Vehicle Kills 24 year-old

Central Traffic Division, 251 East 6th Street, Los Angeles

Los Angeles : On February 6, 2005, at about 2:07 a.m., a fatal traffic collision occurred at the intersection of 8th Street and Dacotah Street.

The victim 24 year-old Julio Rudy Rodriguez was riding his bicycle southbound on Dacotah Street when he was struck by vehicle traveling eastbound on 8th Street.

The impact of the collision caused Mr. Rodriguez to fall and sustain a laceration to his head. He was transported to a local hospital and died February 8, 2005 as a result of his injuries.
