Broad Daylight Gang Shooting

Los Angeles: A gang drive-by shooting between cars happened in broad day light on Sunday afternoon. A man in his 20's was shot and he is not expected to survive.

On February 13, 2005, at about 2:00 p.m., Northeast Area patrol officers went to a report of a shooting in the 2300 block of San Fernando Boulevard. The officers found the victim in the passenger seat of a car, suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. The driver of the car said they were shot at a short distance away and he drove away to get help.

Los Angeles Fire Department Paramedics took the victim to a local hospital where the victim is listed in extremely critical condition. The name of the victim is being withheld pending notification to his family.
