7-11 Robbery Suspect Sought

 

Los Angeles: Early Friday morning, February 11, 2005, a suspect described as a male Black, 5'8-5'10" tall, weighing 160-180 pounds and between the ages of 25 and 30, entered a 7-11 convenience store located in the 5900 block of West Pico Boulevard.

The suspect entered the store, approached a store clerk, purchased a cigar and then asked for another one. When the clerk opened the cash register, the suspect said, "I have a gun," pulled up his shirt, displaying a handgun in his waistband and demanded money. After taking cash from the clerk, the suspect left the store.

The entire incident was captured on the store surveillance camera and a copy is available to the media by contacting Media Relations Section.

The Los Angeles Police Department's Wilshire Division, Robbery Unit, is investigating the armed robbery.
