7-11 Robbery Suspect Sought

 

Los Angeles: Early Friday morning, February 11, 2005, a suspect described as a male Black, 5'8-5'10" tall, weighing 160-180 pounds and between the ages of 25 and 30, entered a 7-11 convenience store located in the 5900 block of West Pico Boulevard.

The suspect entered the store, approached a store clerk, purchased a cigar and then asked for another one. When the clerk opened the cash register, the suspect said, "I have a gun," pulled up his shirt, displaying a handgun in his waistband and demanded money. After taking cash from the clerk, the suspect left the store.

The entire incident was captured on the store surveillance camera and a copy is available to the media by contacting Media Relations Section.

The Los Angeles Police Department's Wilshire Division, Robbery Unit, is investigating the armed robbery. Anyone with information regarding this crimes is asked to contact Wilshire Detectives, at 213-922-8205.
