Missing Children Located

Los Angeles: Today, February 15, 2005, at about 4:15 p.m., America Zamora and her brother Cristo Zamora who have been missing since February 6, were found by Southeast Area detectives safe and unharmed at their friend's house in the Los Angeles area.

The children indicated that they ran way from home because they did not like their stepmother.

On Sunday, February 6, 2005, at about 12:00 p.m., they were last seen leaving their home in the 11200 block of Broadway. They were on their way to a movie theatre located at Gage Avenue and Pacific Boulevard in the City of Huntington Park. The Zamora children have not returned home nor have they contacted any family members regarding their whereabouts.

America Zamora is described as a 16 year-old female Hispanic, brown hair, brown eyes, 5'0, and 130 lbs. Zamora was last seen wearing a black shirt, black pants and black shoes.

Cristo Zamora is described as an 11-year-old male Hispanic, brown hair, brown eyes, 4' 1" and 70lbs. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, unknown color of shirt and brown shoes.
