Armed Robbers Get Away with Thousands of Dollars in Merchandise

"Armed Robbers Get Away with Thousands of
Dollars in Merchandise"

Los Angeles: On Monday, January 24, 2005 at 3:00 p.m., three male suspects entered a Chevron Gas Station located at 2303 West Pico Boulevard in Los Angeles. Two of the suspects followed the store employee into a rear stockroom. One of them placed a knife against the employee's stomach and demanded the employee hand over the goods. Fearing the robbers would hurt him, the employee obeyed the suspects' demands. The two suspects took several cases of cigarettes, totaling in the thousands and ran out of the store to a vehicle where the third suspect was waiting.

The suspects are described as three male Blacks between the ages of 25/30 years old. The vehicle used by the suspects is described as a newer model white SUV with paper license plates.

Anyone with additional information is requested to contact Detective Andrews at Wilshire Robbery Unit 213-485-3586. On weekends and during off-hours, call the 24-hour toll free anonymous number at the Detective Information Desk, at 1-877-LAWFULL (1-877-529-3855).

A photo the suspects captured from surveillance footage is available at the Media Relation Section.
