Man Shot While Riding His Bicycle

Los Angeles:  77th Street Detectives are asking for the public's help in finding anyone who may have witness the shooting of a man in Los Angeles.

On Sunday, February 5, 2006 at about 2:50 a.m., Marvin Lamont Powell, 27-year-old, was riding his bicycle in front of the 1200 block of West 48th Street, when he was shot in the face by unknown suspect(s).

Mr. Powell was taken to a local Hospital where he died.

The motive for this crime is unknown at this time.
