Woman Paralyzed in Drive-by Shooting

Why:
On January 22, 2006, at around 8:30 p.m., two people were sitting in a car, and another person was standing on the sidewalk in the 1200 block of East 41st Street
in Los Angeles. Three male Blacks driving westbound on 41st Street from Hooper Avenue, yelled from a small sport utility vehicle and began shooting.

Of the three victims shot at, one of the victims, a 50 year-old woman who was sitting in the driver's seat of the car, was shot and paralyzed.

The Newton Area Community Law Enforcement and Recovery (CLEAR) Unit and family members of the victims are asking for the public's help to solve this shooting.
