Bludgeoned Body Found in Venice

Los Angeles: LAPD Detectives are investigating the incident that led to the death of a 50-year-old woman that was discovered this morning in Venice.

On Sunday, February 12, 2006, at about 8:45 a.m., the bludgeoned body of a woman was found in the 1900 block of Speedway. Her identity is being withheld until her family is notified. The motive for this incident is unknown and the suspect remains outstanding.
