Between 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM

251 East 6th Street
Los Angeles

Who:
Central Burglary Detectives

Why:
On Tuesday, February 14, 2006, at about 4:00 AM, a commercial burglary occurred at Sejole Clothing store, located at 1515 South Santee Street.  Approximately $100,000 worth of 501 Jeans (4,000 pairs) were taken.

The suspects entered an adjacent building by way of crashing a rented truck and tunneled into the intended business.  They loaded merchandise into the truck and fled the location.  However, the suspect left some evidence at the scene, which led detectives to a follow up location in the City of Bell.  One of the suspects was arrested at that location, a male Middle Easterner.  One additional suspect, also a Middle Easterner, and a van containing the stolen merchandise were located at the second location, at 76th Street and Broadway.

The van and stolen merchandise will be made available for media coverage.

For additional information, contact Lieutenant Andrew Simon, Central Detectives, at 213-972-1202.
