Gang Member Shot and Killed While Tagging

Los Angeles: A local gang member was shot by rival gang members as he was tagging in South Los Angeles.

The victim, 23-year-old Michael Robert Sandoval of Los Angeles, was spray painting the name of a South Los Angeles street gang of his association, when two male Hispanic suspects drove up in a car.  One of the suspects got out of the car and confronted Sandoval and shot him multiple times with a semi-automatic handgun.  Sandoval received a fatal gunshot wound to his head and died a short time later at a local hospital.

The suspects' car was described as an unknown year Honda Accord, 2 door, teal green in color.

The suspects, weapon and vehicle remain outstanding.
