LAPD K-9 Unit Puts Pet Guide to Practice
WHAT: Free community event featuring appearances by celebrities, K-9 Officers and their handlers, and a book signing by Dr. Karen "Doc" Halligan, one of the country’s leading veterinarians and authorities on preventive healthcare for pets. In addition, Merial, the makers of Frontline flea and tick medicine will present a $10,000 donation to the Los Angeles Police Foundation to support safety equipment and future training for the LAPD K-9 Unit.
