LAPD Black History Month Recruitment Expo

Recruitment Officers

Why:
To help celebrate Black History month, the LAPD will be hosting a Recruitment Expo for community members and visitors. The members will learn about the challenges and rewards of working in law enforcement. They will also learn about the diverse career opportunities the LAPD has to offer as well as gather information on how to prepare for success in the hiring selection process.

Among the events and demonstrations will be:

  • An LAPD written exam administered at 8:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.

  • Physical fitness performance requirements

  • Firearms Training Simulator demonstration

  • Interactive panel discussion on Life in the LAPD
