85-year-old Woman Missing

Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department is asking the public's help in locating Mercedez Camarena, who left her home located at 3434 Lee Street in Los Angeles this morning around 6:30 AM.

Ms. Camarena is suffering from Alzheimer’s, and is often disoriented. She is of Hispanic decent, 5 feet tall, and weighs 130 pounds. She has brown hair, brown eyes, and was wearing a brown veil, beige sweater, brown skirt and only speaks Spanish.

Ms. Camarena's possible destination was to Resurrection Church located at Lorena Avenue and Opal Street in East Los Angeles.
