The Los Angeles Police Department is currently in the planning phase for Officer Randal Simmons' funeral services. As you may imagine this is an enormous effort that requires hours of planning.
To accommodate logistical and production needs, Media Relations Section (MRS) requests that those media organization's planning to broadcast "live" from the event contact Lieutenant Ruben De La Torre, at 213-485-3586, or 213-924-2862.
MRS requests that the information be provided by the date and time listed above.
A follow-up News Advisory containing parking instructions, street closures, traffic plans, pre-designated camera/reporter areas, and other vital information will be distributed on Thursday February 14, 2007.
