WHY:
Graduating officers have completed 1,064 hours of training over the course of 28 weeks. There are 60 males and 17 females in the graduating class. The ethnic breakdown of the class is 22 Caucasians, 40 Hispanics, 5 African American, 1 Korean, 2 Chinese,1 Middle Eastern, 3 Filipino, 1 Vietnamese, 1 Samoan, and 1 Cambodian.
In addition, 5 Los Angeles World Airport officers, 3 Los Angeles Port Police officers, and 1 General Service officer will be graduating.
Chief Bratton will inspect the class.
