Man’s Body found in Trash Bin NR12063kr

On Sunday, February 05, 2012, Criminal Gang Homicide Detectives identified the victim as 54-year-old John Joseph Sullivan.  Detectives discovered that the original crime occurred at the victim’s residence in the 1500 block of West Gage Street.  Detectives responded to the aforementioned location and arrested 29-year-old D’andre Michael Williams, who is also an occupant of the home.     

On Tuesday, February 07, 2012, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office filed one count of 187 P.C. (Murder) against Williams, who remains in police custody. 

The motive for this crime was a dispute between Williams and Sullivan. 

Los Angeles:  A passerby found an unidentified man’s dead body in a trash recycle bin Saturday morning.

On February 04, 2012, at around 9:20 a.m., a man’s body was discovered in a blue recycle bin on the west side of Halldale Street, between 67th Street and 68th Street.  The man is believed to be Hispanic, 50- to 60-years of age.  

The victim was fully clothed and his body intact, but the case is being investigated as a homicide.  A cause of death will be determined after an autopsy by the Los Angeles County Coroner.
