Ms. Kim has been located and reunited with her family

Los Angeles:  The family of SoonHwan Kim and the Los Angeles Police Department are requesting the public’s assistance in locating Ms. Kim.

On February 24, 2014, around 1:00 p.m., Ms. SoonHwan Kim left her family’s home in the 100 block of New Hampshire Avenue to go for a walk. At 2:00 p.m., her family became alarmed that she had not returned home, as she usually does not walk longer than an hour.

SoonHwan Kim is new to the area and has been visiting her family from Korea for the past three weeks.   She is described as an 81-year-old female, with black hair and brown eyes.  She stands 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighs approximately 177 pounds.   She was last seen wearing a dark grey shirt, Nike slippers, a gold necklace and possibly a red sweater.  Ms. Kim suffers from Dementia and walks very slowly.
