Los Angeles:
The Los Angeles Police Department Northeast Division Homicide detectives are asking for the public's help in providing any information that would lead to the arrest of the suspect(s) who killed 22-year-old Omar Ruben Norato.

On February 20, 2016, around 6:55 p.m., Northeast Area patrol officers were flagged down by a male Hispanic requesting assistance for a victim of a stab wound in the 3000 block of Griffith Park area. When officers arrived they found Norato in the back seat of his vehicle suffering from a stab wound. Officers also saw a male Hispanic suffering from a laceration to his left hand.

Investigators discovered both victims had been involved in a verbal confrontation with the two suspects. During the altercation, the first suspect stabbed Norato in the upper torso. At the same time, the second suspect stabbed the second victim in the left hand.

The Los Angeles Fire Department responded and transported both victims to a local hospital where Norato later died from his injuries. The second victim was treated and released.

The first suspect is described as a male White, between 20-25 years of age. He was last seen wearing a white shirt or sweater and a black baseball cap.

The second suspect is described as a female Black, between 20-25 years of age, with black long hair (possible dread locks), wearing parachute type pants and a sleeveless shirt.

The suspects were driving a black older model Toyota 4-Runner, with a shattered passenger window.
