Fatal shooting leads to death in Koreatown NR16064TI

Los Angeles: Man dies after being shot in another cruel act of violence.

On Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at approximately 2:00 p.m., LAPD Olympic Patrol officers responded to a call of a shooting at Western Avenue and Venice Boulevard. When the officers arrived they located a large crowd of people in the parking lot of a marijuana clinic. A shooting victim who was conscious and speaking was located.

Los Angeles Fire Department personnel responded and rushed victim to a local hospital where he later succumbed to his wounds. The name of the victim is being withheld pending notification to next of kin.

Suspect is described as a male Hispanic, 20 to 25 years old. He was wearing dark hoodie.
