Pedestrian Killed in a Hit-and-Run

Los Angeles:  The Los Angeles Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating the hit-and-run driver who struck and killed 28-year-old Judy Ramos a resident of San Fernando.

On July 19, 2009, at around 12:15 am, Judy Ramos was crossing Vaughn Street near Gleanoaks Boulevard and hit by the suspect’s vehicle. She was transported to a local hospital and died on July 20, 2009 from her injuries.

The hit and run vehicle is described as a possible 4-door, white vehicle and no information of the driver at this time.

Anyone with information is asked to call Valley Traffic Detectives at 818-644-8021.  After hours or on weekends, calls may be directed to a 24-hour, toll-free number at 1-877-LAPD-24-7 (527-3247) or by texting CRIMES (274637) and beginning the message with the letters LAPD.  Tipsters may also submit information on the LAPD website: www.lapdonline.org.  All tips may remain anonymous.
