"City Council Offers Reward for a Murder Victim, Father of Seven"

Pacoima – On Easter Sunday, April 23, 2000, victim Liborio Medina, the father of seven, was gunned down when he went to move his vehicle for street cleaning day. Victim Medina was moving his vehicle when he noticed suspects "tagging" gang graffiti on his wall. The suspects then approached Victim Medina and shot him to death. Homicide detectives are requesting the help of the public in attempt to find the killer. The city council is offering a $25,000.00 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the murder of victim Medina.

The press conference is going to be held on Wednesday, May 24, 2000, at 2:30 p.m., at the Foothill Community Police Station located on 12760 Osborne Street in Pacoima.
