Unidentified Dead Body Found

Los Angeles:  Los Angeles Police are asking for the public’s help in indentifying the body of a young man found dead.

On Saturday, June 7, 2008, just after midnight, Foothill Area patrol officers responded to a radio call of a death investigation at the 9100 block of Bartee Avenue in the city of Arleta.  When the officers arrived they were met by Rescue Ambulance personnel who had pronounced the victim dead.  The unidentified victim was lying on the sidewalk apparently dead as a result of multiple wounds to the torso. The body had been wrapped and dumped at the location.

The victim is described as a male Hispanic between 22 and 27 years of age, approximately 5’05”, 160 lbs, wearing blue jeans, a light brown leather belt, and light brown leather boots.

Anyone with information is asked to call Foothill Homicide Detectives, J. Martinez or J. Byers at 818-834-3115 during normal business hours.  After hours and on weekends, call the 24-hour Detective Information Desk at 1-877-LAW-FULL (529-3855).
