Los Angeles:  On Tuesday, November 26, 2013, around 11:00 p.m., Valley Traffic Division officers were called to investigate a severe injury traffic collision that occurred on Hunnewell Avenue, north of Pierce Street, in the community of Lakeview Terrace, California.

The preliminary investigation shows that a group of people, including two 17 year old females became involved in a dispute that led to a physical altercation in the roadway.  Witnesses report that 18 year old Miguel Angel Jimenez Jr was involved in the altercation. When Jimenez reportedly attempted to flee the scene he struck the two 17 year old pedestrians, dragging them under his car, until they dislodged and were left severely injured in the roadway.  It is alleged Jimenez failed to stop at the scene and render aid to the victims.  Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics transported the two victims to a local hospital for medical treatment.
