Burglary at an Illegal Cultivation Warehouse NR17354rh

Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department, Gang and Narcotics Division and Commercial Crime Division Burglary detectives are investigating an illegal cultivation inside a warehouse.

On October 31, 2017, around 4 a.m., a burglary occurred at a local business in the 8800 block of Bradley Avenue in the Foothill area. The suspects pried open the rear door of the location and entered the business. The suspects fled the location with the victim’s property, which consisted of a safe, cigarettes, cigars and marijuana plants.

The location was determined to be an illegal marijuana cultivation warehouse. Gang and Narcotics Division are investigating the illegal cultivation. During the investigation, an LAPD employee was identified as being affiliated with the location. The employee has been assigned to home pending an investigation as to their involvement. The Professional Standards Bureau, Internal Affairs Division is handling the confidential personnel investigation. The employee has not been arrested and there are no current criminal charges pending against the employee.
