Man Shot and Killed Inside Vehicle While Waiting for Light to Turn Green NR13406sm
Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) Harbor Division is asking for the public’s help in providing any information that would lead to the arrest of the suspects involved in a homicide that occurred yesterday evening.
On August 29, 2013, around 6:15 p.m., the driver and two passengers were sitting inside their vehicle waiting for the light to change at 5th Street and Gaffey Street in the San Pedro area when the incident occurred. The investigation revealed that the suspects walked towards the vehicle and began to shoot at the victims. All three victims were struck by gun fire.
Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics transported all three victims to a local hospital where the driver was pronounced dead. The two passengers are in stable condition.
