"41 Year Old Man Dies in Drive-by Shooting"

Los Angeles – On Monday, May 21, 2000 at approximately 8:00 P.M., the victim and his two neighbors were standing in a driveway located in the 1600 block of West 208th Street. A gray four door, unknown American make type vehicle approached the victims location and stopped. The suspects where seated in the front and rear passenger sides of the vehicle. Both suspects remained in the car and began shooting at the victims with an unknown type of caliber handgun. One victim (Dino Downs) was struck multiple times and was transported to Harbor UCLA for treatment. The victim died as a result of the gunshot wounds at 9:43 P.M.

Victims two and three were not injured.

There are no suspect descriptions at this time.
