WHY:
Harbor Area’s Teen CPAB will hold its 2nd Annual Teen Police Conference entitled, "Doing the Hard Right, Instead of the Easy Wrong – Addressing Gang and Teen Violence."

Harbor’s Teen CPAB consists of dedicated teens whose mission is to bridge the gap between teens and their police department via positive problem solving dialogue. The Conference will include motivational speaker Dr. Michael Pritchard. Workshops to include:

Gang Prevention- A panel discussion with Gang Intervention Specialists on the negative impact of gang involvement

Exploring the Rise of Bullying Behavior – Office of LAUSD’s Human Relations Diversity & Equity

LAPD Force Options Simulator – Educating today’s teens on LAPD’s Use of Force Policy
