17-year-old Young Man Shot and Killed in Wilmington NR11543SF

Los Angeles: On Sunday, November 20, 2011, a 17-year-old young man was shot and killed while standing in the parking lot of a Wilmington apartment building.

At around 3:00 in the afternoon, neighbors from and around the apartment complex, located in the 1000 block of N. Ronan Avenue, called police to report a young man who was lying on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body.

A rescue ambulance from the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the parking lot, found the victim unresponsive and pronounced him dead at the scene.
