Argument Ends in Fatal Stabbing NR14441sm

Harbor City:  Los Angeles Police Department Harbor Homicide detectives are asking for the public’s help in providing any information that would lead to the arrest of the suspect who killed 23-year-old Joseph Steven Ruiz.

On November 15, 2014, around 9:49 a.m., the victim and the suspect became involved in an argument which escalated into a physical altercation in the 21000 block of Halldale Avenue. The Detective’s investigation revealed that during the altercation, the suspect stabbed the victim with a knife then fled the scene. 

Los Angeles Fire Department personnel responded to the scene and transported the victim to a local hospital, where he died a short time later from his injuries.
