Double Homicide in Harbor Division NR19086jl

San Pedro: The Los Angeles Police Department’s Harbor Area Homicide Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect(s) responsible for the shooting deaths of two siblings, 24-year-old Jason Montes and 25-year-old Justin Montes.

On March 28, 2019, around 9:50 p.m., Jason and Justin Montes were walking near the 400 block of West Santa Cruz Street, in the city of San Pedro, when an unknown suspect approached them on foot and fired multiple rounds in their direction, striking and causing them to be fatally wounded.

Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded to the location to render aid; however, both victims died from their injuries.

At this time, it is unknown if the suspects utilized a vehicle to flee the scene.
