LAPD Participates in Hook and Book Event

Hollenbeck Police Activities League Charity Fundraising Event

Representatives from Hollenbeck Police Activities League

The fundraising goal of the Hook and Book event is to raise $15,000. The funds raised will be directed toward the cost of operating the Police Activities league’s Learning and Leadership Development and the Sports 4 Kids program. Each year, nearly 700 inner city at-risk youths participate in these two programs.

Participants including Mrs. Bratton (Rikki Klieman) will be photographed and seated on stage behind a fake jail cell. There will be entertainment and dinner during the event.
