Reward Offered in Murder Case
Los Angeles: The City of Los Angeles announces a reward offer of $50,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of suspect Adam Quintana.
On November 17, 2008, at around 2:00 a.m., in the 200 block of Breed Street, Adam Quintana bludgeoned his friend, Fernando Garcia to death with a hammer. Quintana then callously dumped the victim’s body in a trash bin and left the area.
"This death is one of the most senseless, shocking deaths we have seen. Not only was the victim murdered violently, but this crime was committed by a person known to the victim. We need help in getting a violent murderer off the street,” said Captain Blake Chow, Commanding Officer of Hollenbeck Division.
The LAPD and Fernando Garcia’s family plea with the public for information leading to the whereabouts of Adam Quintana. Quintana is 18-years old and is described as a male, Hispanic, black hair, brown eyes, stands about 6 feet tall and is about 180 pounds.
