Los Angeles Mayor and Chief Announce LAPD Counter Terrorism Initiatives and SWAT’s Newest Rescue Vehicle, MEDCAT

Why:           
Chief Bratton will announce monthly crime statistics.  The Mayor and the Chief will also discuss new proposed Counter Terrorism legislation, a more comprehensive and focused effort to strengthen Counter Terrorism intelligence and response capabilities in the event of a multiple site attack scenario.  The Department’s latest SWAT rescue vehicle built for Police and Fire Rescue Personnel will also be unveiled.
