Fatal Shooting in Boyle Heights NR16096dm

Boyle Heights: Antonio Paz Gonzalez, a 43-year-old taxi driver, is murdered in the streets
of Los Angeles.

On Sunday, March 13, 2016, around 9:35 p.m., Hollenbeck Division officers responded to a radio call of a shooting in the 4300 block of Worth Street. When officers arrived, they found the victim down on the roadway, suffering from gunshot wounds.

Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded and pronounced Mr.Gonzalez dead at scene.

The circumstances and motive for this homicide is believed to be robbery.

There is no further information at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
