Murder Suspect Wanted

(Update)

*Wanted murder suspect Frank Shano Siganoff ran out of options after seeing a photo of himself on several local news channels and America Most Wanted. On April 28, 2008, around 9:30 p.m., he turned himself in at the Maricopa County Sheriff’s jail in Phoenix, Arizona. During a three-way conversation with his relatives and LAPD detectives, Siganoff was convinced to do the right thing and turn himself in. He waived his extradition and will soon be brought back to California to face murder charges.

Los Angeles:
LAPD detectives are asking for the public's help in searching for a murder suspect who threw an incendiary weapon into a fortune telling business that killed a 57-year-old woman in Hollywood.

The incident occurred on September 3, 2007, when a man walked into the fortune telling business located at 5324 West Sunset Boulevard and callously threw a lit molotov cocktail inside. The business became fully engulfed in flames and tragically claimed the life of the proprietor Rose Marco. Detectives said Marco also resided at her business.

Robbery homicide detectives have developed several leads and identified the suspect as Frank Shano Siganoff, 24. He is described as Caucasian, brown hair and blue eyes. He stands 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighs 200 pounds. Siganoff's face is also heavily scarred with acne.

According to the investigators, the motive for the killing was related to an ongoing dispute between two families within the Hollywood Gypsy community

Siganoff left the state of California following the murder and remained out of state. On Tuesday, April 22, 2008, he was last seen on foot in the Hollywood area, near the intersection of Melrose Street and Western Avenue, carrying personal belongings. Siganoff details cars and is known to frequent car wash businesses in order to earn money.

A murder warrant has been issued for Siganoff's arrest.

Investigators say Siganoff is possibly armed and considered extremely dangerous. Citizens should refrain from approaching or making contact with the suspect and immediately call police.

Anyone who may have seen or knows the whereabouts of this murder suspect is asked to call Robbery Homicide Detectives Mike Oppelt or Al Aldaz at 213-485-2531. After hours and on weekends, please call the 24-hour Detective Information Desk at 1-877-LAW-FULL (529-3855).
