Man Fatally Wounded in Hollywood NR17177im

Hollywood: Los Angeles Police Department West Bureau Homicide detectives are investigating the stabbing death of a male approximately 40-years-old, and are asking for the public’s help in providing any information that would assist with the investigation.

On Monday, June 12, 2017, around 8:00 a.m., Hollywood Division patrol officers responded to a reported stabbing at Hollywood Boulevard at the 101 Freeway. When officers arrived, they found the victim who was suffering from multiple stab wounds. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

Detective’s investigation revealed there were two male Hispanic suspects, near the victim. One of the suspects stabbed the victim and both suspects fled eastbound on Hollywood Boulevard on foot.

The motive for this homicide is unknown.

There is no further information at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
