Man Beaten and Left for Dead NR18286dm

Los Angeles: Los Angeles Police Department West Bureau Homicide detectives are asking for the public’s help in providing any information that would lead to the identification and arrest of the suspects responsible for killing a man.

On Wednesday, November 7, 2018, around 9:10 p.m., Hollywood Division patrol officers responded to a radio call of an “Assault with a Deadly Weapon” in the 1000 block of North Serrano Avenue. Upon arrival, officers were directed to an unresponsive male adult victim on the rooftop of an apartment building.

Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded and pronounced the victim dead at scene. The death was caused by blunt force trauma.

Three male Hispanics, all wearing dark pants and no shirts, were seen walking away from the scene, south on Serrano Avenue.

The victim’s name is being withheld, pending notification to next of kin.
