Captain Carol Aborn-Khoury was born and raised in Los Angeles and joined the Department in 1983. Through her years with the Department, she has worked patrol, vice, administration, communications, training and detective assignments. Captain Aborn Khoury was promoted to Captain in January 2002 and is currently assigned to Planning and Research Division as its' Commanding Officer.
