The Los Angeles Police Memorial is dedicated to the Los Angeles police officers who have been killed in the line of duty. In their honor, the Police Memorial stands on the front lawn of Parker Center, the LAPD’s administrative headquarters building. It is a black granite fountain surrounded by a black granite base. It is inscribed with the names of the Los Angeles Police officers who have lost their lives while serving the City; men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while protecting and serving the residents of Los Angeles.
