Foothill Dets Request Asst in Solving 187 Case

Wednesday, January 6, 1999
On Tuesday, January 5, 1999, 4:40 p.m., Foothill Area patrol officers responded to a "Death Investigation" radio call at 10258 Foothill Blvd. in Lake View Terrace. Upon arrival, the officers were met by a citizen who led the officers to the eastbound on ramp of the 210 Freeway. The officers were directed to a dead body lying off the embankment.
Foothill Detectives responded and conducted an investigation. The investigation revealed the victim was shot to death at the location by unknown suspect(s). The weapon and suspects are not in custody. The motive for the murder is unknown at this time. The identity of the victim is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
Foothill Area Detectives, under the direction of Captain Kenneth Garner, Commanding Officer, Foothill Operation Support Division are handling the investigation.
