Home Invasion Robbery

On Tuesday, January 18, 2000, at approximately 11:30 p.m., Van Nuys Patrol Officers responded to a "Robbery Just Occurred" radio call to the 12900 block Dickens Street in Studio City.

Preliminary investigation revealed two suspects knocked on the victim's door and, when the victim answered, the suspects forced their way inside. The suspects struck and hit the victim with a Taser, or an electrical stunning device, and robbed the victim.

Suspects then left on foot with the victim's property, which included U.S. currency and personal identification. The victim, described as a man in his 20's, was treated for minor injuries at the scene and released.

The suspects are described as male Hispanics, in their 20's.

If you have any information, please contact Detective Morritt, Van Nuys Robbery Coordinator at 818-756-8495.
