Los Angeles - On Friday, December 29, 2000, at about 3:00 a.m., a 47-year-old male was at an inn located in the 1000 block of Centre Street. A suspect approached the victim and stabbed him. The victim died at the scene as a result of his injuries. After a preliminary investigation, Harbor Division Detectives arrested 41-year-old Patricia Gomez. The motive for the homicide is still under investigation. The incident does not appear to be gang related.
