Suspects"
Los Angeles - The Los Angeles Police Department,
Robbery-Homicide Division will be conducting a press conference to request
the public's assistance in apprehending serial robbery suspects. The news
conference will be held on January 9, 2001 at 10:00 A.M., in front of Parker
Center, 150 North Los Angeles Street, Los Angeles.
On November 1, 2000, Robbery-Homicide Division, Robbery
Special Section (RHD/RSS), assumed investigative responsibility of a series
of Radio Shack and Wherehouse Music robberies. The suspects are described as
follows:

Suspect #1:
Male Hispanic, black hair, brown eyes, 5’7", 200 pounds, 25-30
years of age

Suspect #2:
Male Hispanic, black hair, brown eyes, 5’9", 160 pounds, 25-30
years of age

Suspect #3:
Male Hispanic, black hair, brown eyes, 5’11", 300 pounds, 25-30
years of age
The suspects are armed with semi-automatic handguns and
rob the stores during normal business hours.
To date, the City of Los Angeles has experienced a total
of 12 Radio Shack and four Wherehouse Music robberies committed by these
same suspects. The suspects are also responsible for Radio Shack and
Wherehouse Music robberies in the cities of Alhambra, Monterey Park,
Pasadena, Downey, Burbank, Southgate, Chino, La Crescenta and Culver City.
During the press conference, surveillance video and still
photographs of the suspects will be available to the media.
