"Fundraiser: Food 4 Less and Milk-Bone to Donate New K-9 to LAPD Canine Unit"

 

North Hills - On Friday, January 19, 2001, at 1:00 p.m., Food 4 Less and Milk-Bone will co-sponsor a donation of $5000 to the Los Angeles Police Department toward the purchase of a new K-9 for the Los Angeles Police Canine Program. The event will take place at the Food 4 Less store located at 16208 Parthenia St.

Representatives from Food 4 Less, Milk-Bone, The Los Angeles Police K-9 Fund, and The Los Angeles Police Department will be present for the ceremony. The winning student and his/her class of the "Color Your Milk-Bone Dog" coloring contest will also be present for the ceremony. As part of the event, the Los Angeles Police Canine Unit will conduct a demonstration as part of the ceremony.
