Two Brothers Shot – One Dies From His Injuries

 

Los Angeles - - On Monday, January 13, 2003, at approximately 7:25 p.m., victim Ricardo Baeza, a 23 year old Hispanic, and his brother Fernando Baeza a 22 year old Hispanic were leaving a residence located in the 15000 block of Roxford Street. As they were about to enter a vehicle that was parked in the driveway, two male Hispanic suspects between 17-20 years of age approached the brothers and began to shoot them. Both victims sustained numerous gun shot wounds and were transported to local hospitals. Victim Ricardo Baeza succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital. However, victim Fernando Baeza is said to be in stable condition.

The suspects were said to be wearing dark hooded sweatshirts. There is no further description on the suspects. The motive to the crime is currently being investigated.
