30 Year-Old Man Shot To Death

 

Los Angeles: Pacific Area Homicide Detectives are investigating the murder of 30 year-old Michael Marks.

On January 15, 2004 at about 11:50 a.m., Michael Marks was standing in front of 622 Brooks Avenue. He was approached by a white SUV with three male Hispanic occupants. One of the occupants fired at Marks striking him once. Marks was transported to a local hospital where he died from his injuries.

A short time later patrol officers observed the vehicle and a short pursuit ensued. The suspects were taken into custody without incident.
