12 Year-Old Girl Abducted

 

Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department is requesting the Media to provide the public with the following information to assist law enforcement agencies with locating an abducted 12 year-old girl.

On Saturday, January 8, 2005 at approximately 1:15 p.m., Viviana Ibarra, a 12 year-old girl was abducted by a 22-year-old male acquaintance. The suspect telephonically informed the victim's mother that she and he were destined for Guatemala without the consent and permission of her parents.

Suspect Paco Garcia Leon is a 22 year-old male Hispanic, black hair, brown eyes, 5'4, 130 lbs., with a medium build and light complexion.

The missing child, 12 year–old Viviana Ibarra, is a female Hispanic, black hair, brown eyes, 5'2, 95 lbs., with a thin build. She was last seen wearing a blue jacket, black shirt and blacks boots.

A photograph of the abducted child can be obtained from the Los Angeles Police Department's Rampart Area Police Station.

Anyone with information about the abduction should immediately call 9-1-1 , or the LAPD Rampart Area Police Station at 213-485-4062. On weekends and during off-hours, call the 24-hour toll free number at the Detective Information Desk, at 1-877-LAWFULL (1-877-529-3855).
