Man Found Shot in His Car

 

Los Angeles : Rampart Area Homicide Detectives are investigating the death of a male approximately 28 years of age.

On January 11, 2005 at approximately 1:30 a.m., Rampart Area patrol officers responded to a shooting at Temple Street and Rampart Boulevard. Responding officers observed the victim in the driver's seat with an apparent gunshot wound to his upper torso. Los Angeles Fire Department Paramedics pronounced the victim dead at the scene.

The suspects and motive are unknown, and no weapon was found. The identity of the victim is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
