18 Year-Old Shot and Killed

 

Los Angeles: On Sunday, January 23, 2005, at approximately 9:10 p.m., Devonshire Area patrol officers responded to a shooting call in the 8300 block of Wakefield Avenue.

Upon arrival, the officers observed the victim, 18 year-old Allen Smith, a resident of Panorama City, lying on the sidewalk. Smith had suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was transported to a local hospital by a Los Angeles Fire Department rescue ambulance. Smith died a short time later from his injuries.

The investigation revealed the victim was approached by two men and one of the men pulled out a handgun and fired multiple gunshots at him.

The motive and suspects are unknown.
