Monthly Media Availability Meeting

Los Angeles Police Chief William J. Bratton

Wednesday, February 2, 2005, at 11:30 a.m.

Communications Division, 3rd Floor Media Room, 100 North Los Angeles Street, Los Angeles

Los Angeles: Members of the media are cordially invited to attend the Monthly Media Availability meeting, hosted by Chief of Police William J. Bratton. This media availability is consistent with Chief Bratton's goal to foster an attitude of openness and cooperation between the Department and the public media.

Chief Bratton will discuss current crime statistics, the redesigning of LAPD's Website (LAPDOnline), current crime strategies and innovative passive license plate reader technology.

Members of the media will be given the opportunity to ask questions to the Chief.
